Bone health, minor injuries.
Key Features:
This trace mineral is required in small amounts and acts as a cofactor in many metabolic and enzyme processes (including glucose metabolism, activation of vitamins B & C, for building proteins required for body growth, repair and reproduction and the manufacture of fatty acids needed for nerves and the brain). Manganese is also part of the antioxidant enzyme Super Oxide Dismutase which protects cells and tissues from damaging free radicals. It is also required for the formation of new blood cells and the correct structure of bones, teeth, cartilage and tendons.
