Rose petals treat the heart, nerves and lift the spirits. They have an affinity for the blood and, like all Rosaceae family, have a certain astringency that reduces inflammation and stops sweating. Rosewater is great for menopausal hot sweats and summer prickly heat. Use it as a spray to help stop hot flushes and to swiftly freshen up in a waft of glorious rose essence.

Rosewater is traditionally used in Ayurveda for toning the skin. Use as a facial wash or a natural toner to help reduce skin blemishes and oily skin. It has been used for centuries to help reduce fine lines and enhance beauty.

Our pure organic rosewater is distilled from roses grown at a high altitude to optimise essential oil content, the roses are hand picked at dawn and before sunrise to protect their valuable aromatic oils from being evaporated. They are then gently steam-distilled for optimum extraction of the wonderful fragrance.

Rosewater is also delicious when added to food, particularly fresh rice and desserts, or in drinks.

Directions for use: Mix a tablespoon to a glass of water for a cooling delicious drink. Add to food as required. For external use, spray liberally over face and body as desired.
