Herbal Tinctures

Tinctures are a traditional way of extracting the active principles of herbs into a form that is quickly and efficiently absorbed; also, many herbs have active principles that are difficult to absorb because they are not water-soluble. Alcohol dissolves these substances quite well.

Pukka tinctures are made from organic herbs, using organic alcohol as the base. The only reasons not to take tinctures might be very severe liver disease, and of course if you are an alcoholic it might
also be inadvisable.
